Heyo I'm Ammar!
WHAT I DO NOW
Today, I am a Product Designer / Enablement at BoomerangFX designing AI-empowered experiences. Before that, I worked on improving Onboarding experiences for medical practices. On the side, I review and give feedback on products on the web + help my wife run her baking business (unpaid labour) (it's very yummy - i recommend).
WHERE I AM BASED
The good ol' GTA (Greater Toronto Area). Always love visiting London, Ontario though!
I believe in building products people genuinely enjoy using by showcasing usability, visual identity, and accessibility.
Origin Story (Background)
MY ORIGINS
I'm just a dude born in Pakistan and very shortly after moved to Canada where I've lived ever since (moved when i was 1!). I've always loved the act of creating, whether it's through drawing art, designing software, or even solving math problems.
WHAT I USED TO DO
My mom tutored kids in our neighbourhood and i eventually followed suite and tutored ONLY grades 4-12 (don't ask why I didnt tutor any of the earlier grades - I cant fathom trying to explain 1+1 to a 5 year old).
